Why Do I Write a Blog?
After all, I am a graphic designer and photography enthusiast. I admire colors and harmony and believe that “one picture is worth ten thousand words”. I also like to communicate using pictures. There are a few reasons…
- I like writing.
- I’m busy… As a result, many ideas, some of which are worth keeping, disappear in my hectic days. By writing the Memos and Moments (and Memos in a Nutshell on IG) I hope to retain them.
- I represent the generation of “Baby Boomers” today also known as …the Seniors. (when did this happen?!). Sandwiched between slowly maturing offspring and quickly fading elders we often entertain the idea of working into our 70-ties to keep some dignity in retirement. We’ve been through at least one market crash and learned that real estate doesn’t gain value like it used to. With great sympathy for this age group, I hope to include in some of my memos a few Golden Age Survival Tips.
- The mighty Search Engines still appreciate “keywords” rather than “key images” for optimization. A site loaded just with pictures would not cut into these requirements.
Frank Lloyd Wright said: Art for the art’s sake is the philosophy of the wealthy.
- Therefore, I will try to monetize this site to bring home some “bacon”. And for that reason, in addition to my Previous Projects, I work on this blog to load it with related Affiliate Links and Sponsored Posts.
